ABOUT Liam
Liam Hydes is a 17 year old racing driver from Queensland, Australia.
Liam began his racing career in 2017 competing in the Slideways go-karting junior category.
Now currently racing for 3 and a half years now, Liam has had many successes over the last few years.
Liam has won and become a 3x Sodi World Series Australian national champion.
He has won the junior category 2x in a row both in 2017 & 2018.
In 2019, Liam stepped up into the Senior category for his first full season. Eventually, Liam ended up winning the 2019 senior Sodi championship.
Liam has also have been invited and raced in the Sodi World Finals in Italy 2x in a row (2018 - 2019) competing in the Junior category and soon senior to represent Australia.
In February 2019, Liam started making a transition from Go-kart racing to car racing in the Hyundai Excel racing series.
Now Liam is competing in both Sodi kart racing and Hyundai excel racing around Australia.

Since racing for the last few years now, It has been pretty difficult to try and find the lowest possible budget to get me racing on track and approaching sponsors. I have been lucky enough to have Variety the children's charity supporting me with their Variety heart scholarships to support kids with disabilities to pursue their dreams.
